Alycia is the daughter of Florida Attorney Alan Kaback and Louisiana born Sandy Kaback, Alycia has the fire and aggression of a top trial attorney but the charm of a southern bell.
Growing up the daughter of a successful attorney in southern Florida, life was definitely a fairy tale setting with Alycia’s high school having valet parking and weekends yachting along the intercostal on mega yachts with friends. Alycia’s world was of one of power wealth and influence from an early age.
That fairy tale life would be soon shattered like all fairy tales often are when Alycia’s mother Sandy was struck with breast cancer and it would take a heavy toll on the family financially and mentally to the point of losing everything.
Those years would force Alycia to find a way to protect her little sister, to take care of her and support her through college. It was a this point her life would set a course in an entirely new direction, Alycia’s dream since she was a little girl you see was to be on the Mickey Mouse Club. As a little girl she had fond memories of her parents taking her to see live tapings of the show and seeing future superstars like Justin Timberlake or Britney Spears performing. That dream would grow into a passion and interest in Film and lead her to getting a degree in Film and communications in Orlando.
Upon graduation of college with a double major and with her mother now a 2x breast cancer survivor, Alycia was finally ready so fly solo and to find success. It was not that easy, her dreams of being a film director straight out of college would land her as a waitress at Planet Hollywood waiting on tables and again surrounding herself with celebrities and Hollywood A list, but now she was bringing them drinks and burgers.
After two years of waiting tables and listening to the advice of family and friends to give up on your “dream” to get a real job, women can’t be in this business not like this. Alycia had the mounting pressure of school loans and though her “gut” told her not to give up, she gave in and that is when she would enter “the real world” and find a 9 to 5 working in real estate and eventually finance and mortgages. She would do this for the next ten years.
Finally, one day she woke up with a realization that her life like so many others was passing her by, she never finished what she started she never did all she could. She thought, what she did wrong and she realized the one thing she was missing was answers to her questions, she had no one to talk to.
Alycia knew any business in order to be successful you needed to surround yourself with others that were successful, everyone has a mentor, yet in the entertainment industry the wall was so high the door has so many locks it was impossible to get in, and just like that in the simplest of ideas like so many other ideas, her mission was born.
She would move to New York, she would change everything, surround herself with a new circle, start from zero but she would be in the right setting and she would help people find the people they needed to achieve success in modeling, acting or music.
Now sometimes life likes to give you a lucky roll of the dice and Alycia’s luck had an awesome start because when she started her first event it was during the writers’ strike, so speakers were available, actors were available…sometimes destiny just needs to meet you at the right time.
It was at that point that Alycia began developing her theories about people’s mental and emotional relationship to being in the entertainment business. She realized that as magical as the top of the world was where success reigned supreme there was a dark side "filled with greed and scam artists" a world where confusion was king and there was no one doing anything about this. Unlike fairy tales the wolves in this story are not what you would expect they come at you with false promises you so want to believe and sometimes from within the very inner-circle of trust you would least expect. Part of her mission now is to expose how these scam artists work and has made a simple presentation she calls the “Scam or No Scam Game” when speaking to new talent and parents.
Alycia’s most profound discovery was that there was a “roadmap” every talent could discover in themselves and if they just followed it they could avoid these “roadblocks: of villain’s and predator’s and find true and pure never-ending success.
Using the principles and practices found in her upcoming book, Finding Fame: The Insider’s Guide to the Entertainment Industry, Alycia has provided the world with a simple to follow blueprint to not only create success, but to keep it and grow it, and become a success as a model, actor or musician in the entertainment industry.
Industry powerhouse’s that have teamed up to offer advice in Alycia’s new book include such notables as Dan Lauria who play the dad on the wonder years to Alan Zweibel, who has won multiple Emmy, Writers Guild of America, and TV Critics awards for his work in television which also includes Curb Your Enthusiasm and an episode of Monk.
To over 35 gifted and influential powerhouses the average person would never now, but these are the people in the saying “It is all about who you know” from Tony Award winning producers, Actors to an eccentric mix of the most powerful people in music, film and theatre all providing a lifetime of wisdom.
For as long as Alycia can remember, she been insatiably curious about human potential. She has wanted to know, what exactly is it that makes people genuinely happy, successful and creatively fulfilled? Why do some people struggle while others find a way to thrive, often despite the most challenging circumstances?
Alycia journey has not been easy, from online predators to cyber stalkers, villain’s do not like to quietly go away into the night so easily but most importantly what Alycia wants to share with others is, she believes that no matter what your dreams or obstacles, you have the power to change your life and, by doing so, you’ll change the world.
From helping talent find their “roadmap” to success to soon leveraging entrepreneurs the opportunity to be a part of a global trillion-dollar business in the entertainment industry, Alycia has turned taken her dream from an idea and a passion to a reality that now educates and inspires talent to not have to suffer with silent tears that there is no one that can help them find their way in this business.
